I was an unusual child. My favorite playthings were a mirror to see how many faces I could make and a tape recorder to hear how many voices and sounds I could make. It paid off! Today, so many years later, I've got hundreds of commercials, films, television appearances and stage plays under my belt. Oh, and I still enjoy making faces and goofy sounds!
Being killed - twice - on "Miami Vice". Being killed on "Walker Texas Ranger". Being killed on "Mortal Kombat: Conquest". Being killed on "Analyze This". Being killed in "Of Mice & Men". Being killed in "Macbeth", and a bunch of other stuff where I didn't get whacked.
But, seriously. Hanging with the legendary Harold Ramis - even for a couple of days - was priceless.
While I enjoy writing plays, producing radio dramas and videos, reading for Insight for the Blind, and painting ala the "Bob Ross" method, I find I have a passion for photography...with 'real' cameras. When the Blue Angels come to town I'm in Heaven!
On October 2nd, 2015 on the Warner Bros. backlot I was so very honored to be a recipient of SAG-AFTRA's highest award, The George Heller Memorial Award. To stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the late Ken Howard - SAG-AFTRA's first President - was surreal; a magic night I will treasure forever.
It's been a wonderful ride lo these many years. And there's much more to come! What are you looking for? An undercover FBI agent? A mobster? A romantic lead? The "Thane of Cawdor"? A standup comic? The voice of your commercial, audiobook, or documentary? You've landed in the right place!
A Halloween project I produced for 101.5 LITE FM, Miami. In 2012 it won the Silver Trophy as "Best Drama Special" (in the world) in the New York Festival's International Radio Competition!
Another Halloween project for 101.5 LITE FM! This original production - written and produced by yours truly - won the Bronze Trophy as "Best Drama Special" (yes, in the world) in the 2015 New York Festival's International Radio Competition!
A few years ago I visited a dear friend, Ellen. I noticed a stack of letters on her living room table to and from a young Jewish Marine, Hymie, and his Coney Island family. Ellen, his niece, was just a baby. These letters sat in a shed for over 75 years. Reading them brought me to tears. Dated between 1942-1945, they covered his enlistment, Basic Training, and eventual deployment to the horrors of Iwo Jima. It became obvious to me that Hymie's story had to be told. Here's a teaser.
Send me a message or ask me a question using this form. I will do my best to get back to you soon!
